1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DwellHQ (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

DwellHQ is a home maintenance tracking application that helps homeowners manage their property inventory, schedule recurring maintenance tasks, track service history, and store related documents. The Service is provided on a subscription basis.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all data you upload to DwellHQ, including documents, photos, and property information. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. You may export your data at any time through the home settings page.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload malicious files or content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DwellHQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request an export of your data within 30 days of termination.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
